Dear
HREC Group Member,
We kicked off this year on March 19 with an engaging and relevant webinar on the 4 imperatives of women in leadership. The webinar, which was hosted by CEB, reminded us on the fact that increasing representation of women in leadership positions has a real, tangible impact on an organization's financial and talent outcomes. However, despite years spent on gender-balance initiatives, over half of Heads of HR are unsatisfied with their organization's current gender diversity: only 21% of top executives are women. In the webinar last March 19 CEB highlighted the four common myths surrounding women in leadership and some innovative strategies to overcome barriers and grow women leaders in its workforce.
So in 2015 we’re off to a great start again however there is much more to come – and that all for free for you as valued member of our HR community!
First of all there are a number of CEB led webinars planned for the remainder of the year. The first one is on the topic of performance transformation and can be accessed for free via the link: Performance Transformation
Further a number of other topics will be discussed throughout the year such as; Millennials, Redefining Leadership, Betting on Future Talent: Finding Future Leaders in Your Organization and Getting the Right Fit: Putting Values at the Heart of Talent Management.
Besides joining yourself also feel free to extent these invitations to your HR team members as CEB’s webinars truly provide great research insights.
Separate from the CEB led webinars we also have contracted with a number of Senior Business Leaders from across the globe who will join the Advisory Board on an engaging dialogue on the topic of "Business Transformation".
As you may remember we started the dialogue on this topic last year with COO Thomas Praming and as a consequence of that engaging discussion, and many requests from yourselves, we have decided to host a leadership series on this very relevant topic.
The following guest speakers have been confirmed;
* Imad Mohsen, CEO, Tulip Oil Netherlands
* Mark J. de Witte, former CEO Bacardi Dach & Nordics
* Arjan Overwater, CEO Meinl am Graben
* Stefano Pelle, MD Piaggo India
The 1st session, which will be co hosted by Mr I. (Imad) Mohsen – former Executive assistant to Jeroen van de Veer (Former CEO Shell) and now CEO himself at Tullip Oil Netherlands, will be hosted on July 10.
A more detailed invitation will go out in the next 2 weeks and we look forward to have you join our webinar. Until then stay connected and keep sharing as we’ve been doing for the past 6 years!
Kind regards,
The Advisory Board
